Do It List Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-03.

1. Agreement

By using Do It List (doitlist.app), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. "We"/"us" means Do It List; "you" means the person or account using it.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password and any two-factor method secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@doitlist.app if you think your account's been compromised. You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you.

3. The service

Do It List is a tool for nested task trees with real, rolled-up progress. You can invite other people into an Initiative to work on it with you, and you control which AI agents can reach your work via revocable API tokens.

4. Your content

You own what you create in Do It List — your Initiatives, Tasks, descriptions, and comments. You give us the rights we need to store, process, and show that content back to you and the people you choose to share it with, so we can run and improve the service as we see fit. Owning your content doesn't entitle you to keep it stored or accessible in Do It List beyond what your plan covers, for time you've paid for and not been refunded. Do It List's own software is ours; using the service gives you no rights to it.

5. Paid plans

Do It List is free to use within the Free limits shown in the app. We may change the Free limits at any time. A paid plan raises those limits at the price shown when you subscribe, charged through our payment processor, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; you keep what you've paid for.

When a paid plan ends, Free limits apply again: Initiatives over your Free allowance become locked for a grace period, after which they're permanently removed unless you renew first.

No refunds.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Do It List to break the law, invite or contact someone without a legitimate reason to reach them, try to access an account or Initiative you don't belong to, or interfere with the service — including scraping it or abusing the API or MCP server.

7. Availability

We try to keep Do It List running well, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or unchanged.

8. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or the law.

9. Disclaimers

Do It List is provided as-is. We make no promise, spoken or implied, that it will suit any particular purpose of yours.

10. Limitation of liability

Where the law allows it, if we owe you anything over a claim tied to Do It List, the most you can collect is $100, or whatever you paid us in the 12 months before that claim — whichever number is bigger.

11. Indemnification

If someone else brings a claim against us because of something you did with Do It List or a rule in these Terms you broke, you'll cover our reasonable costs.

12. Governing law

Arizona law applies to these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

When these Terms change, we update the date above.

14. General

Should a court strike down one piece of these Terms, everything else keeps working. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy cover everything agreed between you and Do It List.
